Beijing, June 26th—Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a study group of the Youth of the European People’s Party (YEPP) led by Virgilio Falco, Chairman of the European Democrat Students (EDS).
Wang made positive comments on the sound momentum of China-EU relations, stressing that the CPC attaches great importance to the friendly relations with the EPP and its youth organizations, and is willing to work with the EU to deepen mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation and enhance exchanges and mutual learning between the two civilizations. We hope young European politicians will play a positive role in promoting China-EU relations.
Falco expressed that the EDS and the EPP are willing to further strengthen exchanges with the CPC, actively participate in and support EU-China youth exchanges, and push for the deepening of EU-China political communication and cooperation in various fields.
