Beijing, July 2nd—Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a cadre study group of the Arab Socialist Renaissance Party (ASRP ) of Syria headed by Mohammed Shrith, Member of the ASRP Central Committee and Secretary of the Latakia Governorate.

Speaking positively of the relations between the two Parties and countries, Wang said that the CPC is willing to further strengthen friendly exchanges with the ASRP, promote bilateral cooperation in various fields through inter-party exchanges and push forward the sustained and steady development of China-Syria relations.

Shrith noted that China is the real friend of Syria. The ASRP and the Syrian government attach great importance to developing relations with China and are willing to learn the CPC’s experience in state governance and administration to constantly deepen cooperation with the Chinese side under the Belt and Road Initiative.
