Beijing, July 3rd—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a Kenyan cadre study group of the Jubilee Party headed by Kamar Margaret Jepkoech, head of the Procedure and House Rules Committee of the Kenyan Senate.
Guo said that President Xi Jinping and President Uhuru Kenyatta have met many times in recent years and reached important consensus, which has charted the course for the development of bilateral relations. The CPC is ready to work with the Jubilee Party to actively implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two countries, push forward the implementation of the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and advance the relations between the two Parties and countries.
Kama thanked the CPC’s invitation, saying that under the leadership of the top leaders of the two countries, bilateral relations have entered the best period in history, which Kenya is deeply satisfied with. The Jubilee Party hopes to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC, learn from each other and push relations between the two Parties and countries to new levels.
