Beijing, August 1st—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a cadre study group of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) of Myanmar headed by U Wai Lwin, Member of the USDP Central Executive Committee and former Minister of Defense.

Speaking positively of China-Myanmar relations, Guo said that the CPC is willing to maintain friendly exchanges with the USDP and create a good atmosphere for jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative between China and Myanmar and for cooperation in various fields.

Wai Lwin appreciated the great development achievements the People’s Republic of China has made since its founding 70 years ago, and expressed that the USDP hopes to learn the CPC’s experience in party building to benefit the two peoples.
