Beijing, August 27th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of Young Union of Germany headed by Tilman Kuban, Chairman of the Young Union.

Qian expressed that the CPC maintains regular exchanges with the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) and Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU), playing an important role in increasing mutual understanding and political mutual trust between China and Germany. It is hoped that the Young Union will actively participate in the exchanges and dialogue between the two Parties and make positive contributions to the healthy and steady development of China-Germany relations.

Kuban said that the CDU/CSU attaches great importance to relations with China, and the Young Union is willing to further strengthen exchanges between young politicians of the two Parties and exchange experience in state governance and administration in such innovative fields as digital economy and smart city.
