Beijing, September 4th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today on the afternoon with Andres Unga, the newly-appointed Estonian Ambassador to China.
Qian congratulated Unga on his reappointment as Ambassador to China and made positive comments on China-Estonia relations and inter-party exchanges, saying that the IDCPC is willing to work closely with the Irish Embassy in China to further deepen the exchanges between the political parties of the two countries and push China-Estonia relations and pragmatic cooperation in various fields for constant development.
Unga said that Estonia attaches importance to developing relations with China and is willing to deepen bilateral cooperation in various fields within the framework of jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative. The Irish Embassy in China is willing to play an active role in promoting exchanges between the political parties of the two countries.
