Beijing, September 10th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the 3rd Young Leaders Delegation of the Labour Party of Malta headed by Dr. Christian Cardona，Deputy Leader of the Labour Party of Malta, and Minister of Economy, Investment and Small Businesses.

Speaking positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Qian expressed that the CPC is willing to enhance exchanges and mutual learning with the Labour Party of Malta, and promote practical cooperation in various fields between the two countries so as to elevate China-Malta relations to new highs.

Cardona spoke highly of the development achievements the People’s Republic of China has made over the past 70 years, and expressed that the Labour Party of Malta is willing to further strengthen cooperation between the two Parties to advance the development of Malta-China relations.

After the meeting, both sides signed an exchange plan between the CPC and the Labour Party of Malta from 2019 to 2024.
