On the afternoon of June 24th, Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, exchanged via videolink with Georgios Katrougkalos, Shadow Foreign Minister of Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA) of Greece.

Speaking positively of the relations between China and Greece and the sound cooperation between the two countries in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, Qian said the CPC attaches importance to strengthening dialogues and communication with SYRIZA, enhancing mutual understanding and trust, and together promoting China-Greece comprehensive strategic partnership, in a bid to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Katrougkalos said, Greece speaks highly of China’s important contributions to the international efforts in fighting against the pandemic. SYRIZA stands ready to further intensify the exchanges and cooperation between the two Parities and serve as a bond and a bridge for Greece-China and Europe-China relations.
