Beijing, April 19th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), attended here today on the morning the Symposium on the Chinese Path to Modernization and Common Development and Book Launch Communist Party of China in the New Era from the Perspective of the International Community, and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

The symposium was co-organized by the IDCPC and Renmin University of China. Zhang Donggang, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Renmin University of China, attended the opening ceremony. Over 40 foreign representatives from 22 communist parties of 21 countries, author representatives of Communist Party of China in the New Era from the Perspective of the International Community, and more than 30 Chinese experts and scholars were present.
