Li Mingxiang Holds a Working Meeting with the Delegation of the Congolese Party of Labour

Beijing, May 29th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a working meeting here today with the delegation of the Congolese Party of Labour led by its general secretary Pierre Moussa. Jacques Jean Luc Nyanga, Ambassador of the Republic of the Congo to China, was also present.

Li spoke positively of the relationship between the two Parties and countries. He introduced the CPC's struggle over the past century, especially the historic achievements and changes made in socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core. He expressed the Chinese side's willingness to work together with the Congolese side to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, take the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2024 as an opportunity to further strengthen inter-party exchanges and cooperation, enhance strategic communication and political mutual trust, deepen experience exchanges in state governance and administration, promote practical cooperation, and promote the in-depth development of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries.

Moussa said, the Congolese Party of Labour spoke highly of the governance philosophy and achievements of the CPC, the Congolese Party of Labour is willing to learn from the CPC's experience in state governance and administration, and work together with the Chinese side to implement a series of major initiatives proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, including high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, in order to jointly uphold international fairness and justice.
