Beijing, July 2nd—Ma Hui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a political and business delegation of Japan. The delegation was led by Takashi Shinohara, Member of the House of Representatives of Japan's National Diet.
Ma said, President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida reached important consensus during their meeting in San Francisco last November, providing important political guidance for the development of relations between the two countries. The Chinese side is willing to strengthen exchanges and dialogues with all sectors of the Japanese side, intensify exchanges between political parties, non-governmental organizations and the business community, further enhance mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation, promote mutually beneficial and win-win results, and build a constructive and stable China-Japan relationship.
Takashi Shinohara said, under the guidance of the leaders of the two countries, Japan-China economic and trade relations have been continuously deepened. All sectors of Japan are willing to strengthen exchanges with China and explore new cooperation opportunities with the Chinese side in economy, trade, investment, non-governmental exchanges and sub-national exchanges.
