Beijing, October 17th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Socialist Party of Serbia led by Milomir Premovic, Advisor to Ivica Da?i?, President of the Socialist Party, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Serbia.

Speaking positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Chen said, the Chinese side is willing to further strengthen the exchanges between the two Parties, implement the important consensus of the two heads of state on building a China-Serbia community with a shared future in the new era, and contribute the wisdom and strength of political parties to deepening the China-Serbia traditional friendship and bilateral cooperation in various fields.

The Serbian side said, the traditional friendship between Serbia and China is profound and the practical cooperation between the two countries has become a successful model of the Belt and Road Initiative and China-Central and Eastern Europe cooperation. The Socialist Party of Serbia is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with the CPC and promote the deepening of Serbia-China relations and the development of practical cooperation.
