Beijing, February 14th—Zhao Shitong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Takehiko Matsuo, Vice Minister for International Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan. The two sides exchanged views on China-Japan relations, bilateral economic and trade cooperation, cultural and people-to-people exchanges and other issues of common interest.
