Ma Hui Meets with a Delegation of Cadres of Provincial, Municipal Committees of the Communist Party of Cuba

Beijing, May 9th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of cadres of provincial and municipal committees of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) led by Beatriz Johnson Urrutia, Member of the PCC Central Committee and First Secretary of the PCC Provincial Committee of Santiago. 


Ma spoke highly of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries. He said that China and Cuba are both socialist countries led by communist parties. Common ideals and beliefs have brought us together closely. China is willing to take the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cuba as an opportunity to continue to deepen the special friendly relations between the two Parties and the two countries, and promote the construction of China-Cuba community with a shared future for new progress. 

Johnson said, the relationship between the two Parties is an important cornerstone of the relationship between the two countries. The PCC hopes to strengthen friendly exchanges with the CPC and promote cooperation in various fields between the two countries. Cuba thanks China for its long-term selfless help and strong support for Cuba's economic and social development. The PCC will continue to firm up convictions and unite and lead the Cuban people in building socialism.
