Beijing, July 11th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Chang Lih Kang, Vice President of the People's Justice Party (PKR) and Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia, who was attending the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting.
Sun said, the leaders of China and Malaysia have reached a consensus on building a high-level strategic community with a shared future for China and Malaysia, which has charted the course for the future of China-Malaysia relations. The CPC is willing to work with the PKR to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, deepen strategic communication and political dialogue, and contribute the strength as political parties to the development of our own countries as well as regional peace and stability.
Chang Lih Kang said, the current Malaysia-China relations are at the best period in history. The PKR values the friendly ties with the CPC and is willing to further deepen personnel exchanges and mutual learning of governance experiences between the two Parties, and promote the in-depth development of practical cooperation in various fields between the two countries for the benefit of the two peoples and the prosperity and stability of the region.
