Beijing, August 12th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Mikko Hautala, Nokia’s Chief Geopolitical and Government Relations Officer. 

Ma said that President Xi Jinping's meeting with representatives of the international business community in March this year demonstrated China's firm resolve to further comprehensively deepen reform and expand high-level opening up. As unilateralism and protectionism are accelerating, China and Europe should further deepen the concept of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation and jointly inject positive energy and certainty into global development. International companies, including Nokia, are welcome to continue to explore the Chinese market and achieve greater development. 

Mikko Hautala said, Nokia attaches great importance to the Chinese market. Over the past 40 years, Nokia has been a participant in and witness to China's economic development. Looking ahead, Nokia is ready to further deepen cooperation with China in areas such as communication, so as to contribute to the stable development of Europe-China and Finland-China relations.
