Beijing, September 25th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the France-China Friendship Group of the French Senate.

Speaking positively of China-France relations, Ma said, China is willing to work with France to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and inject more certainty into the turbulent world with the stability of China-France relations. The CPC is willing to strengthen communication and dialogue with French political parties to promote the steady and long-term development of China-France relations. 

The French side commended China's achievements in recent years in areas such as scientific and technological development, ecological protection, and urban governance, and expressed its willingness to continue to promote the sustained and sound development of France-China relations. The France-China Friendship Group of the French Senate stands ready to continue to play its role to promote exchanges and mutual learning between France and China and enhance mutual understanding and trust.
