Beijing, September 23rd—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of political parties from Morocco.

Speaking positively of China-Morocco relations, Ma said, China is willing to work with Morocco to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and King Mohammed VI, firmly support each other, share development opportunities, carry forward traditional friendship, closely coordinate and cooperate, and continuously enrich the connotation of the China-Morocco strategic partnership. The CPC attaches great importance to its friendly relations with the political parties of the Moroccan ruling coalition and is willing to strengthen friendly exchanges, deepen ideological exchanges, and promote the continuous development of bilateral relations. Ma also expounded on the four major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping. 

The Moroccan side said, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, Morocco is actively building a new development model and is willing to strengthen the alignment of development strategies with China, deepen cooperation in such areas as economy, trade, science, technology, and people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and welcome more Chinese enterprises to invest in Morocco. The Moroccan side supports the four major global initiatives and actively participates in the Belt and Road cooperation. The political parties of the Moroccan ruling coalition are willing to strengthen mutual learning and exchanges with the CPC, deepen exchanges and cooperation between young people, women and professionals, and contribute to the greater development of Morocco-China relations.
