Beijing, October 16th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of women cadres from Southern Africa.

Li introduced the significant meaning of China's hosting of the Global Summit of Women, expounded on the principle of sincerity, real results, amity and good faith for China's Africa policy and the right approach to friendship and interests proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, as well as the spirit of friendly cooperation between China and Africa. He said, the CPC maintains friendly relations with political parties in Southern African countries and is willing to promote exchanges and cooperation among women through inter-party channels to make greater contributions to building the all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era. 

The African side said, the keynote speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the opening ceremony of the Global Summit of Women is far-sighted and pioneering, charting the course for the future development of the global women's cause, which greatly inspired us. The African side is willing to enhance exchanges and mutual learning between African and Chinese women to promote the development of women's causes.
