Beijing, October 21st—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Markus Leitner, Head of Asia-Pacific Division at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) of Switzerland, and Jürg Burri, outgoing Swiss Ambassador to China.

Both sides agreed that China and Switzerland should take the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the innovative strategic partnership as an opportunity to continuously enhance dialogue and communication, increase mutual trust, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, practice multilateralism and international rule of law, and strive for a more just and reasonable global governance.
