Li Mingxiang Meets with Members of the Training Session for Vietnamese Cadres

Beijing, October 29th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with members of the training session for Vietnamese cadres led by Ho Thi Nguyen Thao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Committee and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.


Li elaborated on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, positively evaluated the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, and wished the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) a complete success. Li said, China is willing to work with Vietnam to implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary To Lam, and deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in party building and state governance in accordance with the six overall goals of "greater political mutual trust, more solid security cooperation, deeper mutually beneficial cooperation, stronger popular support, closer multilateral coordination and better handling of differences" to promote the steady and long-term development of the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future. 

Ho Thi Nguyen Thao highly spoke of the global significance of the theory and practice of China's modernization. She said, the CPV will soon convene its 14th National Congress and looks forward to drawing on the CPC’s experience in formulating scientific strategic plans and leading sustainable economic and social development, so as to help Vietnam better plan its economic and social development goals for 2026-2030 and contribute to pushing the Vietnam–China friendly and cooperative relations in the new era to new highs.
