Qingdao, November 2nd—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, together with the experts from the Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and officials from the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, briefed here today on the morning the foreign representatives attending the second meeting of the China-Central Asia Political Parties Dialogue on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.

Sun said, the successful convening of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the adoption of the Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development have outlined a blueprint for China's development over the next five years, attracting global attention. Under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, China is clear about its direction, has made strategic plans, and has institutional advantages. With the unity and concerted efforts of the people, China will surely achieve all the established goals. A stronger China that is ready to be a sincere friend and steadfast partner to all countries is a source of comprehensive benefit and significant opportunity for the world, especially for Central Asian countries and China's other neighboring regions. Professor Zhao Zhenhua of the Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Comrade Liu Yong of the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission introduced the key directions and prospects of China's economic development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030) and the achievements of Shandong Province in implementing the 14th Five-Year Plan respectively. 

The foreign representatives stated that under the leadership of the CPC, the Chinese people have remained diligent, united, and enterprising, firmly pursuing a path of self-reliant and self-strengthening development. By integrating its fine traditional culture with the modern science and technology, China has achieved remarkable economic and social progress during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee has set out a clear strategic blueprint for China’s development in the next five years, showcasing the CPC’s accurate grasp of the country’s development direction and firm confidence in the future. This will undoubtedly further advance China’s development and prosperity. Central Asian countries stand ready to embrace the opportunities brought by China’s high-quality development, deepen mutual learning and exchanges, and accelerate the alignment of their national development strategies with China’s upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan, so as to jointly advance the process of modernization.
