Beijing, December 9th—Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the US-China Education Trust (USCET) Expert Working Group led by David M. Lampton, Professor Emeritus of the Paul H. Nitze School of Advance International Studies of the Johns Hopkins University. Both sides exchanged views on issues of common interest such as China-US relations, people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and educational cooperation between the two countries. Lu also briefed on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.
