Ma Hui Meets with a Delegation of Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) of South Sudan

Beijing, March 25thMa Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with a delegation led by John Oryem, Secretary for Training and Research of Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) of South Sudan. 


Ma spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties and China and Sudan, saying that the CPC is willing to work with the SPLM to strengthen strategic communication, deepen concept exchanges and mutual learning of experiences, and promote the continuous development of the China-Sudan strategic partnership through inter-party channels, guided by the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two Parties and countries. Ma also introduced the 15th Five-Year Plan and related information on the CPC's education campaign to help officials gain a correct understanding of what it means to perform well and act accordingly. 

Oryem said, South Sudan attaches great importance to developing relations with China and sincerely thanks China for the long-term and valuable support. South Sudan highly appreciates the achievements of Chinese modernization, and believes that the CPC will lead the Chinese people in the endeavor to realize development goals. The SPLM is willing to learn from and draw upon the CPC's concepts and experiences in areas such as party building, poverty alleviation, and primary-level governance to better explore a development path suited to its national conditions.
