An IDCPC Delegation Visits Türkiye

From April 12th to 14th, Jin Xin, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), led a delegation to visit Türkiye. During the visit, he attended the 2026 China-Türkiye Ruling Party Governance Exchange Mechanism Strategic Dialogue with Zafer Sırakaya, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) in charge of Foreign Affairs, and Nihat Zeybekçi, Deputy Chairman of the AK Party in charge of Economic Affairs. Jin also held meetings with Namık Tan, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Peoples Party (CHP); Fatih Erbakan, Chairman of the New Welfare Party; Doğu Perinçek, Chairman of the Patriotic Party; and Berris Ekinci, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye. In Ankara, Jin attended the inauguration ceremony of the Global Civilization Initiative Research Center, which was attended by over 100 representatives from political parties, think tanks, media, and youth groups. In Istanbul, he attended the inauguration ceremony of the China Development Path Translation and Publishing Center. Jiang Xuebin, Chinese Ambassador to Türkiye, and Wei Xiaodong, Consul General in Istanbul, participated in relevant events. 





Jin said, this year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Türkiye. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the China-Türkiye strategic cooperative relationship has maintained a sound momentum. China stands ready to work with Türkiye to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and continuously expand and enrich the substance of the bilateral strategic cooperative relationship. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030), China will remain committed to high-quality development and high-level opening up, sharing opportunities and pursuing common development with the world. China is willing to strengthen the alignment of development strategies with Türkiye, advance mutually beneficial cooperation across various fields, and achieve higher-level win-win outcomes. The CPC stands ready to enhance exchanges at all levels with friendly Turkish political parties, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration, and contribute to the sound and steady development of China-Türkiye relations. Jin congratulated the establishment of the two centers and gave an in-depth introduction to the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind and the four major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping. 




The Turkish side spoke positively of bilateral relations, noting that both Türkiye and China are important members of the Global South and that strengthening friendly cooperation is in line with the shared interests of both sides. Various sectors in Türkiye are closely following Chinas 15th Five-Year Plan and the opportunities brought by its high-quality development. Türkiye firmly adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to take the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to implement the important consensus reached by the two leaders, strengthen the alignment between Türkiyes Middle Corridor initiative and the Belt and Road Initiative, deepen friendly cooperation across various fields, and further advance the bilateral strategic cooperative relationship. Political parties in Türkiye expressed willingness to deepen inter-party exchanges with the CPC, enhance mutual visits, strengthen exchanges of ideas, and expand practical cooperation, so as to promote Türkiye-China relations through inter-party channels. Representatives from think tanks, media, and youth groups also expressed their readiness to actively participate in and promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges and mutual learning between the civilizations of the two countries.
