Jin Xin Meets with a Delegation of the Islamic Dawa Party of Iraq

Beijing, May 27thJin Xin, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Islamic Dawa Party of Iraq led by Sadik Al-Bahadili, Head of the Foreign and Political Relations Department of the Islamic Dawa Party in Iraq. 


Jin noted that in April this year, President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to Nizar Amidi on his election as President of Iraq, expressing Chinas readiness to work with Iraq to elevate the China-Iraq strategic partnership to new heights. The CPC stands ready to implement the important consensus reached by the two countriesleaders with the Islamic Dawa Party, deepen ideological exchanges, promote mutual learning among civilizations, enrich "political party +" cooperation, and contribute the political partiesstrength to the development of China-Iraq relations. In light of the international and regional situation, Jin also elaborated on the vision of building a community with a shared future for humanity, the four major global initiatives, and President Xi Jinpings four-point proposal on safeguarding and promoting peace and stability in the Middle East. 

Al-Bahadili spoke highly of the CPCs glorious century-long journey and the great achievements of Chinas modernization. He stressed that Iraq firmly adheres to the one-China principle, appreciates Chinas important role in international and regional affairs, and expressed the Islamic Dawa Partys readiness to strengthen friendly exchanges with the CPC, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience on party governance and state administration, promote cooperation in economy, trade, culture and people-to-people exchanges between Iraq and China, advance the development of the Iraq-China strategic partnership to better benefit the two peoples.
