Beijing, July 10th—Jin Xin, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Idris Abdulrahman Al Kindi, Secretary-General of the National Security Council of Oman. 

Jin briefed the Omani side on the spirit of the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the grand gathering celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. He noted that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the China-Oman strategic partnership and bilateral exchanges and cooperation across various fields have made long-term progress. The IDCPC is ready to develop exchanges and cooperation with the Omani National Security Council, deepen mutual learning on ideas, strengthen strategic communication, and jointly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, so as to contribute to the steady and sustained development of China-Oman relations. 

Idris warmly congratulated the CPC on its 105th anniversary and spoke highly of the vision of building a community with a shared future for humanity, the four global initiatives and the four-point proposal on promoting peace and stability in the Middle East, all put forward by President Xi Jinping. He said that the Omani side values the development of its relations with China and that the Omani National Security Council is ready to strengthen friendly exchanges with the IDCPC, learn from the CPC's concepts on state governance and administration as well as the development experience, and promote cooperation between Oman and China in such fields as economy and trade, investment, industrial parks and tourism. 

The two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common interest.
