Welcome to the website of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC). 

The external work of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is an important front of the Party, an important component of China’s overall diplomacy, and an important manifestation of major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics. The IDCPC is the principal functional department for the external exchanges of the CPC. Since its founding in 1951, the Department has actively carried out party-to-party diplomacy in line with the development of the country and the trends of the times, becoming an important channel for exchanges between China and the rest of the world. 

On the new journey in the new era, the Department will follow the clear guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, especially Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, and act upon decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee. We will keep improving the three-pronged approach to our work integrating party-to-party diplomacy, public diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy, enhance exchanges and dialogue with political parties, political organizations and friends from around the world to foster a new type of party-to-party relations that seeks to expand common ground while reserving differences and enhances mutual respect and mutual learning, and build a global partnership network of political parties. We will focus on pursuing high-quality development of the Party’s external work, and make new and greater contribution to the advancement of Chinese modernization and the building of a community with a shared future for humanity.
