BEIJING, April 23 -- Zhao Hongzhu, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and deputy secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, met here with Ngo Van Du, member of the Political Bureau and of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and head of the Central Commission for Inspection of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Zhao said that the CPC is ready to work together with the Communist Party of Vietnam to further deepen the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam and promote continuous growth of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries.

Ngo Van Du expressed condolences to earthquake-hit Lushan County, Sichuan Province. The Communist Party of Vietnam attaches great importance to the friendly relations between Vietnam and China and is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two parties and two countries in various fields, said Ngo Van Du.
