DALIAN, July 29 -- The 9th CPC-CPV Theoretical Seminar under the theme of Experience of Improving Party Conduct and Upholding Integrity under New Conditions closes today in Dalian, Liaoning Province.
Yang Yanyi, assistant minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Phung Huu Phu, the executive vice-chair of the Central Theory Council of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) spoke at the closing ceremony and commended the achievements made through the Seminar. They both believe that the meeting is successful as expected in promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
In the two and a half-day seminar, delegates from the two sides spoke candidly on the topic and engaged in active interaction and discussions. The delegates all agree that this Seminar, as a chance of exchanging ideas, has helped the two sides to inspire each other. Both sides emphasize the important experience to improve party conduct and maintain the advanced and pure nature of the party for both the CPC and the CPV for strengthen their ruling status and uniting and leading all people of their respective countries in the cause of development of the nation. Under new historical conditions, the two parties must improve party-building in an all-round manner and enhance capacity for self-purification, self-improvement, self-innovation and self-development. The two sides both say that they will remain committed to communication and mutual-learning between the two parties by making full use of the platform of the Theoretical Seminar.
