DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 10 -- Chairman of Tanzania's Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and president of Tanzania Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete met here on October 9th with vice-minister Ai Ping of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee who is in Tanzania to attend, as the CPC representative, the sixth session of Secretary Generals' meeting of former liberation movements of southern Africa.

Kikwete said that the CCM and the CPC are all-climate friends supporting each other in difficult times and that the CCM is ready to further cement and deepen its exchanges and cooperation with the CPC.

The CPC treasures its traditional friendship with the CCM and is ready to play a positive role in fostering a more sound and fast-developing bilateral relationship between China and Tanzania, said Ai Ping.
