BEIJING, March 25 -- Vice-Minister Li Jinjun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met in Beijing on March 25th a delegation of the German Union parties headed by Volker Kauder, chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the Bundestag.

Li spoke positively of the relations between China and Germany on both state and party fronts, expressing the willingness of the CPC to further deepen dialogue with the Union parties and make their cooperation mechanism more innovative, so as to promote in-depth development of China-Germany and China-Europe relations.

On his part, Kauder extended congratulations over the success of the eighteenth National Congress of the CPC and annual sessions of the NPC and CPPCC National Committee, and reaffirmed Germany's strong interests in China's future development and willingness to bring bilateral relations to a higher level through the unique channel of inter-party dialogue.
