SUZHOU, April 23 -- Vice-minister Li Jinjun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here this morning with the delegation of the New Democracy of Greece (ND) led by the Party's Secretary-General Manolis Kefalogiannis.

Li spoke highly of the ND's efforts over the years in promoting China-Greece relations and said that the CPC is ready to further deepen its relations with the ND and enhance exchanges and cooperation between the two countries on various fronts. Kefalogiannis stated that the ND values its relations with the CPC and is willing to deepen the friendly exchanges between the two parties and promote the growth of the bilateral relations so as to bring benefits to the people of both countries.

Deputy Director-General Yu Xiaoxuan of Bureau VIII of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee was there during the meeting.
