BEIJING, July 24 -- Wang Jiarui, vice-chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met today with Jose Ramon Balaguer, member of the Secretariat and head of the International Department of the Communist Party of Cuba.

The two sides briefed each other on their respective domestic situation and party-building and exchanged views on further deepening exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties. Balaguer expressed deep condolences to earthquake victims in Gansu on behalf of his Party, for which Wang expressed gratitude.
