Liu said China and Uzbekistan are good friends and partners with sincere mutual trust. President Xi Jinping and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev charted the course for the development of China-Uzbekistan relations. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Uzbek side to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, continue to firmly support each other on issues involving respective core interests and major concerns, deepen cooperation such as the Belt and Road cooperation, strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and promote the building of China-Uzbekistan community with a shared future. A peaceful and stable regional environment is crucial to the development of China and Central Asian countries. The Chinese side appreciates the positive role played by the Uzbek side in international and regional affairs. It is willing to, together with the Uzbek side, strengthen coordination and cooperation under multilateral mechanisms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and China-Central Asia mechanism, and jointly meet common challenges. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges at all levels with all political parties of Uzbekistan, deepen experience exchanges in state governance and administration, strengthen strategic docking through the "political party +" channel, and promote practical cooperation.
Arziev said President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Xi Jinping established a high degree of mutual trust and profound friendship. The Uzbekistan-China relationship is at the best level in history. The two countries have achieved fruitful results in cooperation in various fields such as economy, trade, and culture. Developing friendly cooperation with China is a priority of Uzbekistan's foreign policy. The Uzbek side is willing to strengthen exchanges with the Chinese side in political parties, think tanks, etc., and learn from China's experience in poverty alleviation, education, and green development. It firmly supports and participates in the three major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping, and is willing to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the Chinese side in international affairs. He said, last week, as an ambassador to China, I attended the opening ceremony of the Two Sessions and deeply felt China's latest achievements in all aspects of modernization. I believe these achievements will bring more opportunities to the region and countries around the world.
