Beijing, May 22nd—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Caspar Veldkamp, Foreign Minister of the Netherlands. Both sides emphasized that strengthening political dialogue is crucial for enhancing mutual understanding, and both sides should further tap into bilateral cooperation potential and expand people-to-people and cultural exchanges, so as to promote the development of China-Netherlands and China-European Union relations.
