Liu Haixing Briefs Political Parties Leaders, Ambassadors to China from Five Central Asian Countries on Spirit of 4th Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee

Beijing, October 30th—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Aziz Giyozoda, Deputy Speaker of Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan, Khakimov Rakhim Rasuljonovich, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Zhilkibayev, Secretary of the "AMANAT" Party, Iskhak Masaliev, the leader of the Party of Communists of Kyrgyzstan, Batyr Badayev, Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan and other foreign representatives attending the second meeting of the China-Central Asia Political Parties Dialogue, as well as ambassadors to China from the five Central Asian countries. All sides highly praised the high-level development of China-Central Asia relations and the fruitful results of the China-Central Asia Summit. They all expressed their willingness to fully implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and the heads of state of the five Central Asian countries, and to contribute to the common modernization of China and Central Asia through the platform of China-Central Asia Political Parties Dialogue. 


Liu briefed the leaders of political parties from the five Central Asian countries and their ambassadors to China on the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He stated that the just concluded fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee was a very important meeting held by the Communist Party of China on its new journey toward the second centenary goal. The most significant outcome of the session was the adoption of the Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, which provides top-level design and strategic planning for development over the next five years. The 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030) is a crucial period for laying a solid foundation and making comprehensive efforts to basically realize socialist modernization. China will further deepen reform across the board and expand high-level opening up, and is willing to share new development opportunities with Central Asian countries. The CPC is willing to work with political parties from the five Central Asian countries to jointly implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and the heads of state of the five Central Asian countries, strengthen institutionalized exchanges, deepen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, boost practical cooperation in various fields, promote people-to-people bonds, advance the common cause of modernization, and promote the building of a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future. 

The foreign guests warmly congratulated the CPC on the successful convening of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the adoption of the recommendations for China's 15th Five-Year Plan. They expressed the confidence that under the wise leadership of President Xi Jinping, China will achieve its development goals as scheduled, laying a solid foundation for further advancing Chinese modernization and realizing national prosperity, and also bringing new development opportunities to Central Asian countries. The Central Asian countries are grateful for China's long-term valuable support for their economic and social development, and are willing to closely align their national development strategies with China's 15th Five-Year Plan, promote cooperation in various fields, and advance the common modernization process. Inter-party exchanges play an irreplaceable role in the relations between Central Asian countries and China. The political parties of Central Asian countries firmly adhere to the one-China principle, support President Xi Jinping's Belt and Road Initiative and the four major global initiatives, and are ready to strengthen exchanges and dialogue with the CPC in various fields through the platform of China-Central Asia Political Parties Dialogue.
