Beijing, December 15th—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with a delegation of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) led by Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Secretary-General of the DAP and Minister of Transport of Malaysia.

Liu said, in April this year, President Xi Jinping successfully paid a state visit to Malaysia and reached important consensus with the Malaysian leaders on building a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future, opening a new "Golden 50 Years" for China-Malaysia relations. The CPC is willing to work with the DAP to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen high-level exchanges, deepen experience exchanges in party building and state governance, and promote practical cooperation and people-to-people bond through "political party +" practices, contributing more strength as political parties to the modernization of the two countries and the stable development of China-Malaysia relations. The Central Economic Work Conference has made policy arrangements for a good start to the15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030). China stands ready to work hand in hand with Malaysia and other neighboring countries to advance together on the path toward modernization and jointly realize the goal of national prosperity and improved well-being for the people.
Anthony Loke Siew Fook said, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, Malaysia-China relations have maintained strong momentum and are at a historic high. The two sides have achieved fruitful cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, tourism and transportation, and cultural and people-to-people exchanges. Malaysia firmly adheres to the one-China policy. Malaysia-China relations are not subject to interference or influence from any third party. China's continued development and strength are a major positive factor for regional and world peace, stability and development. The DAP attaches importance to its friendly relations with the CPC and is willing to further strengthen inter-party exchanges, deepen exchanges and cooperation in areas such as cadre training and party school building, and promote practical cooperation such as the Belt and Road cooperation through inter-party channels to inject new impetus into the development of bilateral relations.
The two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common interest.
