Beijing, December 19th—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, Ambassador of Iran to China.

Liu said, in September this year, the successful meeting between President Xi Jinping and President Masoud Pezeshkian provided strategic guidance for the future development of China-Iran relations. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges with Iranian political parties and organizations, jointly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, continue to firmly support each other on issues concerning each other's core interests, enhance strategic communication, deepen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, promote exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, and push the China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership for steady and long-term development. China is willing to strengthen multilateral communication and coordination with Iran, implement the four major global initiatives, maintain regional and world peace and stability, and promote common development.
Fazli said, Iran is grateful for China's valuable support and is willing to work with China to take the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership next year as an opportunity to accelerate the implementation of the consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen exchanges and cooperation in economy, trade, investment, people-to-people and cultural engagement and local areas, consolidate the sound development momentum of bilateral relations. Iranian political parties and institutions are willing to strengthen exchanges with the CPC. Iran supports the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind and the four major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping and is willing to strengthen multilateral coordination with China to promote the establishment of a more just and reasonable international order.
