Beijing, December 16th—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Soeung Rathchavy, Cambodian Ambassador to China.

Liu said, in April this year, President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Cambodia, during which the two countries announced to establish an all-weather China-Cambodia community with a shared future in the new era. The CPC is willing to work with the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, consolidate political mutual trust, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration, and promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields. Liu also introduced the main situation of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He said, China is willing to share opportunities with all countries, including Cambodia, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, and achieve common development.
Soeung Rathchavy said, Cambodia is willing to work with China to take the important consensus of the leaders of both sides as guidance, intensify high-level exchanges, strengthen the alignment of development strategies, jointly pursue high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and deepen the building of a community with a shared future. Cambodia will adhere to the one-China principle and actively support the implementation of the four global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping.
