Beijing, April 24th—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with a delegation led by Maliksho Nematzoda, First Deputy Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT).

Liu said, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Emomali Rahmon, the China-Tajikistan comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the new era has entered a fast track of development. Last year, the two heads of state met twice, opening up new prospects for the development of China-Tajikistan relations. The CPC and the PDPT have maintained friendly exchanges over a long period. The CPC stands ready to work with the PDPT to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, deepen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, strengthen alignment of development strategies, expand cooperation in various fields through the "political party +" platform, consolidate the public support for the enduring friendship between the two countries, and elevate China-Tajikistan relations to a higher level. Liu also briefed on the CPC's education campaign to help officials gain a correct understanding of what it means to perform well and act accordingly as well as relevant information on the 15th Five-Year Plan.

Nematzoda thanked the Chinese side for arranging a rich itinerary for the delegation. He highly praised the CPC for adhering to the people-centered development philosophy and leading the Chinese people to achieve great success in poverty alleviation, which also provides valuable reference for Tajikistan. Nematzoda stated, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, Tajikistan-China relations have maintained a high level of development. The PDPT cherishes its friendly relations with the CPC and is willing to work together to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen institutionalized exchanges between the two Parties, enhance practical cooperation in areas such as poverty alleviation, local affairs, and youth, and promote the continuous development of Tajikistan-China relations.
