Beijing, June 2nd—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Mauro Vieira, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil.

Liu noted, under the strategic guidance and personal promotion of President Xi Jinping and President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, China-Brazil relations have achieved a milestone leap from a comprehensive strategic partnership to a community with a shared future, and are currently at their best historical period. Cooperation between the two countries has a strategic and global impact that transcends the bilateral scope, setting a model of unity and self-reliance for the Global South. Inter-party exchanges are an important component of China-Brazil relations, playing a vital role in consolidating mutual political trust and guiding the development of bilateral relations. The CPC is willing to work with all political parties in Brazil to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen political dialogue, deepen mutual learning on concepts, promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields through the "political party+" platform, and jointly contribute to the building of a China-Brazil community with a shared future. Liu also briefed on the CPC's ongoing education campaign on establishing and practicing a correct view on governance performance.

Vieira said, in recent years, the two heads of state have jointly elevated Brazil-China relations to a new height of the community with a shared future, providing important strategic guidance for both sides to consolidate political mutual trust and deepen solidarity and cooperation. The stability and predictability of bilateral relations have been further enhanced, and bilateral relations have become a model for state-to-state relations in the world today. Inter-party exchanges are of great significance for enhancing mutual understanding and trust between Brazil and China and promoting the development of Brazil-China relations. Brazil is willing to strengthen inter-party exchanges with China, deepen strategic communication and practical cooperation in economy, trade, people-to-people and cultural engagement and other fields, and work together to build a Brazil-China community with a shared future for a more just world and a more sustainable planet.
The two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern.
Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the IDCPC, Marcos Galvao, Brazilian Ambassador to China, and others were present at the meeting.
