Gaborone, July 23rd-- Slumber Tsogwane, Chairman of the Botswana Democratic Party and Vice President of Botswana, met here today with Xu Lyuping, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, who led a CPC delegation to visit Botswana.

Tsogwane expressed the expectation of the convening of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and the willingness to learn from the CPC’s experience in state governance and administration to pass on traditional friendship, promote mutually beneficial cooperation and elevate the relations between the two countries to new stages.

Xu expressed the willingness to, together with the Botswanian side, promote inter-party exchanges between China and Botswana and elevate China-Botswana relations to a new level, so as to achieve mutual benefit, win-win results and common development and better benefit the two peoples.
