Beijing, July 23rd—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today at request with Mark Field, Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the UK. Both sides exchanged views on China-UK relations and international and regional issues of common concern. Barbara Janet Woodward, UK Ambassador to China, was present at the meeting.
