Prime Minister of Mauritius Meets with Luo Huining

September 11th--Pravind Jugnauth, Leader of the Militant Socialist Movement and Prime Minister of Mauritius, met at the Prime Minister's Office today with the CPC delegation headed by Luo Huining, Member of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee.

Jugnauth expressed that the successful convening of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) was of great significance to African countries. The Mauritian side stands ready to actively promote the implementation of the outcomes of the Summit in Mauritius, so as to build Mauritius into a portal for Chinese enterprises to enter Africa.

Luo noted that the Chinese side is willing to speed up the implementation of the consensus reached by high-level leaders of the two countries and the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit, in a bid to elevate China-Mauritius relations to a new stage.

During his stay in Mauritius, Luo held working talks with Sowkatally Soodun MP, President of the Militant Socialist Movement and others, and jointly inspected the Shanxi-Africa cooperation zone as well as attended Shanxi Film Week and other activities with Mauritian political heavyweights.
