On the morning of October 26th, Vice-minister Qian Hongshan met with a study group of think tanks from African countries led by Professor Michael Mulikita of the College of International Relations and Development of the Mulungushi University of Zambia.

Qian spoke positively of China-Africa relations, and hoped that China and Africa will further deepen cooperation in various fields under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, enhance exchanges in think tanks and academic institutions, in a bid to jointly elevate China-Africa relations to new stages.

Mulikita expressed the willingness to further strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges between Africa and China, enhance exchanges and mutual learning on experience of state governance and administration, and contribute advice and suggestions to the development of Africa-China relations.
