Beijing, October 27th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met today on the afternoon with a multi-party study group of Italian parliament members headed by Vito Rosario Petrocelli, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate of Italy and Head of International Relations of the Five Star Movement.

Speaking highly of China-Italy relations as well as exchanges and cooperation between the political parties and parliaments of the two countries, Qian expressed the willingness to enhance contact with various political parties in Italy to promote constant development of China-Italy relations.

Petrocelli noted that the Italian government, parliament and various political parties attach importance to their relations with China and the CPC, and stand ready to further promote practical cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
