Beijing, November 26th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a staff delegation of Japan’s Komeito headquarters headed by Masahiro Amino, Director of the Accounting Bureau.

Speaking positively of Komeito’s long-term efforts for the improvement and development of China-Japan relations, Li expressed that the CPC is willing to, together with Komeito, well implement the important consensus of the leaders of both countries, so as to promote the constant and forward-looking development of China-Japan relations.

Amino noted that Komeito will always follow the route set by Daisaku Ikeda, Founder of Komeito and Honorary President of Soka Gakkai, and adhere to the general direction of peace, friendship and cooperation, in a bid to promote the sound and stable development of Japan-China relations.
