Beijing, September 24th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today on the afternoon with Dario Mihelin, Croatian Ambassador to China.

Speaking positively of China-Croatia relations and inter-party exchanges, Qian said that the IDCPC is willing to intensify coordination with the Croatian Embassy in China, further deepen exchanges between the political parties of both countries and promote constant development of China-Croatia relations and practical cooperation in various fields.

Mihelin extended warm congratulations on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, saying that Croatia attaches great importance to developing relations with China and actively participates in the Belt and Road Initiative and the "17+1" cooperation under the initiative. The Croatian Embassy in China has played an active role in closer exchanges between political parties of the two countries.
