Beijing, September 25th-- Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Sverdlovsk Regional Branch of the United Russia Party headed by Victor Sheptii, Secretary of Sverdlovsk Regional Branch and First Deputy Chair of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region.

Qian made positive comments on China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era, saying that the CPC is ready to work with the United Russia to implement the important consensus reached by the heads of state of the two countries, upgrade the level of cooperation between the two Parties and make new contributions to the great progress of China-Russia relations in the new era. Exchanges and cooperation at sub-national level are an important part of the exchanges between the two Parties. The IDCPC is ready to promote exchanges and mutual learning and deepen cooperation between Sverdlovsk and the regions of China.

Sheptii congratulated the People's Republic of China on the 70th anniversary of its founding, saying that China's development achievements have attracted worldwide attention and shocked the world. The Sverdlovsk Regional Branch of the United Russia Party is ready to actively participate in the exchanges between the two Parties and deepen practical cooperation with all regions of China for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
